Ramon Medina was a loan officer at Interwide Bancorp.
Background[]
Ramon had refused a loan of $427,000 to Simon Lynch, citing him as "unstable and unqualified". Ramon had worked at the bank for over ten years.
Ramon was married and had a son, Max. His wifes spinach lasagna was a particular favourite of his. He had been cooking dinner for the past month due to his wife's work commitments. He did not believe his own cooking as 'edible'.
Simon Lynch[]
On his regular drive home, Ramon was stopped by an apparent homeless man who was offering an electro-wash of the windows of his car. After initially stating he didn't require one, and the man ignored it to provide an electrowash, he wound down his car window to give the man some money. Ramon was sprayed with fentanyl oxide in order to knock him out. When he woke up he had been fitted with a MechNek™ pacification collar and he was asked if he was "ready to play?".
He was instructed to return to the bank and get $427,000 to be loaded onto a device. He was then told if he could get to an address he would receive the code to disarm the bomb. He was stopped by Detective John Kennex and Dorian before he could get to the location, ten miles away. Dorian was unable to disarm the bomb so a Shield was placed around Ramon before the device detonated and killed him instantly.
The entire episode with the collar was transmitted over the Darknet by Simon Lynch who was getting revenge for being denied a loan.
